We moved into this trailer park last year where the old landlord lives in a house. We had a broken door that has needed fixed for some time. The sink in the kenchun is all messed up. The outlets are bad and one blew up on me and my son. Its dangerous to live here. Landlords family next door has been asking for the rent. I told them you don't fix anything. Now the month as gone nearly by and they are mad I haven't paid up. I am moving out. Do I have to be out right on the first. I have four kids. I work. I have some things packed. It seems that they are being selfish and rude. They act like were in the wrong when they don't fix anything. Its no sense to tell them because when I tell them about a problem it can be months before they do anything.

  1. If you havent paid the rent then you have no bargaining power whatsoever.

  2. Failure to pay rent without following legal procedures is grounds for eviction.  Repair request must be submitted in writing in order for you to have created a paper trail....if you failed to do this, the courts will have no choice but to side with the landlord and have you forcibly removed from the property.
