I have a school project, and I need to find landmarks in Haiti, but I cannot find information on any. I tried googling it, and nothing really came up. Can someone tell me of some landmarks in Haiti they know of?

  1. I don't really think so. I had to do a project also on Haiti overall in general last year and there was nothing about landmarks. It is the poorest country in the western hemisphere so in my opinion they don't have much to show the world.

  2. There is the museum by the palace, that has the anchor to the Santa Maria, which sank off the North coast of Haiti.  There is the big Cathedral were Pope John Paul visited.  The slum, Citi Soleil, is just off downtown Port-Au-Prince.  The Citidel and Sans Souci are up North and the Baptist Mission is at Petionville.

I don't believe you have actually researched this because HAITI has a lot more landmarks, I just can't remember them... and I lived on that island 2 years.
