Pappadeaux is much better, so much better than Landry's.

Their fried onion rings are the best I have ever had. Also the menu is much more extensive and it is more authenic Cajun.  It is a great place.  They mix the salad at you table.

Loyd/Mary--you're thinking of Papacito's, not Papadeax's.  Papadeax's is a cajun-style seafood place, no tex-mex.  To answer the question, I personally would pick Landry's.  Their seafood is fresher, and the premises are nicer (in my opinion).

I like Landry's better...but then again, I don't like cajun food :)

Pappadeaux's.  I like Landry's, but I like the flavors at Pappadeaus'x better. (I love cajun).

If you really want a decadent seafood treat.  Take a trip up to Allen for Ralph and Kacoo's - yummmmm! (will be a little more expensive than the other two but well worth it).

It all depends on your taste and your pocketbook . Landrys is more expensive and caters more to American foods , whereas Papadeauxs is a little cheaper and caters to the tex-mex food .

I know one thing for sure ---- You can not go wrong.

I like Papadeaux's better.  I like the spice.
