Question:

Landscape irrigation?

Ok I installed a small irrigation system at my sisters house and im not sure if it was a mistake or not but I didnt use PVC pipe. I used that thin plastic hosing. now I dont have very good pressure? is it the water pressure or is it the hosing I used? Should I split the hosing in half and run it at two separate times or should I tear it up and install PVC pipes?

The yard isnt that big. Its about 30ft by 50ft. I ran the hosing direct to the facet in the back of the house (which has good pressure) buried it along the edge of the yard making a square. The first few sprinklers work great but as the water makes its way down the system each sprinkler gets less and less pressure. Any ideas, comments...criticisms?

  1. You should have used the pvc pipe.  The hose is probably not thick enough to deliver enough water.  Also you need something to boost the water pressure going out to the lines.
