Landscapes of new york state?

honestly, i know it's one of the answers to one of my labs ...but i don't really understand what drainage systems are or how they can be found....

does anyone know how many major drainage systems there are in new york state and what caused the develpoment of the different drainage systems in new york state??

All a draining system is (natrally or man made) is water way that leads to a bigger body of water (river, lake, or the ocean)

Water always finds its lowest point, that is why a lot of times between mountains or between two mountain ranges you will see rivers.
