  1. if there in front of me then i let them go if they are half way behind me then i hit it and let them worrie bout it, move ******. if the lane next to them is open then they should move, common courtesy, d**k.

  2. We all have to learned to follow all the rules of the road to cooperate with other drivers: to signal, merge, yield, change lanes and use lights at night.............................

  3. Well, you could just move over and pay for the damages, but really, you can't control other people, you just have to cope with them.  You're free to take their rego number and report them too.  There are a lot of very bad drivers out there, anywhere you go, everywhere you go.   Defensive driving will protect you to some degree.  Take a course.

  4. hit and run, hit and run.........wooow... kill kill kill kill hahahah do it!!!

  5. you cannot expect other drivers to move out of your way, they may be in the lane they need. you can only change lanes when it is safe to do so. try to plan your lane changes ahead, I have found most drivers will help you but you can't force them to.

  6. FIRST THERE MUST BE ROOM FOR YOU TO MOVE OVER, NO ONE HAS TO SLOW DOWN JUST YOU CAN CHANGE LANES. SO TURN ON YOUR TURN SIGNAL AND WHEN THE COAST IS CLEAR MOVE TO THE OTHER LANE.

  7. DO NOT CAUSE anyone to have to change their lane, their course, or their speed - which means don't go blithely into a gap that doesn't exist.  Signalling does NOT make another car disappear!  When a gap presents itself, check your mirrors, including your 'blind-spot' mirrors, signal, and move smoothly and decisively over.   Give a small steering input on the wheel, ease into the lane, and give a controlled cancelling input to restore a straight-ahead course.  It is not just about controlling the car, it is about your behaviour in traffic.

Sounds as though you did not leave enough time to change lanes? If traffic is heavy then start your sequence earlier...

Consider a hand signal (not the middle finger kind)?? This will bring more attention to your wishing to change course.

  9. People see that big red L and think "Oh h**l - I really don't want to get stuck behind some dawdling learner" so I know what you mean!

The key is reading the road and reacting in good time.  So, lets say you are on a dual carriageway doing 50mph, and you notice that ahead of you is a van that you are slowly gaining on.  *Now* is the time to think about overtaking.

Check your right mirror and your rear mirror - a quick glance over your right shoulder too - all clear?  Indicate right and move quickly and smoothly into the right lane.  Once you have overtaken the van, you should move back to the left *but* you really don't want to 'cut up' Van Man!

So, you are in the right lane and drawing alongside the white van, you've gone past, check your rear view mirror.  Only and I mean ONLY when you can see the whole front of the van in your rear view do you indicate left and then move to the left lane.

If you want to change lanes and a car is hurtling along in the next lane, adjust your speed - you don't want to rear end the vehicle in front of you.  Sometimes you may have to slow down, indicate, change lanes, other times you may have to speed up slightly to change lanes - it's never really one rule suits all.   It's something that you get used to in time and it's really quite hard to judge the speed of a vehicle behind you!

  10. Keep your indicator on.. And when you see a gap slow move into the other lane..

Choose your lane carefully so try and be in your turning lane about 1-2 Km or Miles before you need to turn so you have plenty of time to get over
