Question:

Language recovery with hypnosis???

I am in the middle of hypnotherapy to get my native Korean language back by using a technique called "age regression." I am curious as to know if anyone has tried this process or one like it. If so, did it work for you? I spoke this language for a little over 7 years so I know that it has to be in my brain somewhere. I know that it will be limited vocabulary, but it will be a start. Also, has anyone tried Rosetta Stone Korean Level 1 and were you able to learn Korean with it? Thank you.

  1. Hello Robin,

This is an interesting question and your results may vary widely depending on your situation.

Do you feel you "lossed" the memory to the language?

Did you experience trauma as a child? violence, moving or any other factor that would make your "conscious" mind forget about this language and events associated with it?

Or did you simply forget the language from not using it, as one forgets how to play piano or how to sing if one does not practise for a long time.

If your answer is yes to the first paragraph, Hypnotherapy can help you to heal the traumas and if the traumas are healed, your conscious will feel safe to connect again to a language that does not represent a threat anymore.

If your answer is closer to the second paragraph, then Rosetta Stone Korean Level 1 or any other language course may be a better way to fill your data bank, that part of the brain that learns new information.

If your answer is yes to both, then certainly I wish you to heal first and EXPRESS yourself.
