Question:

Laptop Internet Problems?

I have an HP pavilion laptop that came with wireless capabilities. Unfortunately my friend spilled coke on it and now the internet has pretty much stopped working on it. Everything else works fine, including all the USB ports. I've heard that there are things you can plug into a USB port for wireless access. I already have a wireless router, and I'm not looking for anything thats going to have a monthly rate in addition to the internet I'm already paying for(AT&T).

  1. You need a USB wireless adapter.

Several manufacturers produce them.  Linksys or D-Link would be good choices and not real expensive.

Just plug it in, do the configuration and away you go.

    Good Luck
