Question:

Laptop Speaker problem?

I am on a laptop, built in speakers and microphone. I noticed this morning that the speakers weren't working, tried playing music, wouldn't come out. I checked if it was on system mute (control panel, sound speech and audio devices, adjust the system volume) and noticed it said at the top "No Audio Device". Now I realize that whatever the microphone hears comes out through the speakers. Why is this happening? Anyway to fix it. Control panel still says "No Audio Device". Please help.

and delete the sound device and shut down.  Reboot

and you should get the message "new device found" see

if windows can install it from the windows files.

If it is not there you will have to eownload the driver and install it manually.
