Laptop To TV........?

Question

When I hook my toshiba laptop up to my toshiba HDTV and go to PC setting on TV it says no signal. How can I fix that? A walk-through would be excellent!

goto to control panel, click on personalization, then on the left hand side there is a link to connect to a projector or other external display.   You will see picture of a monitor, click below where is says connect connect display.   then you can decide how you want it set up.  Just play around till you figure out what you want.  This is how I did it.  I am using Vista.  Dont know what system your using so dont know if it is the same on xp.
