Laptop WIFI Cannot connect to Unsecured Network, Why?

Question

My Sony laptop has a built in wifi detector/connector, it detected an unsecured network wiht 4 bars(good connection) but was not able to connect to it? Why and how can I fix this problem?

You will need to check your access on the icon,  You connection may only be a local connection not to a internet connection.  Look at the computer and world icon to see if you are connect to the internet too. Good Luck!
