Laptop as wireless reciver for the xbox 360?

i have a 14meg broadband connection will it lag xbox live gaming if i use my laptop as a reicver for the 360?

Not at all.

I have 8 and i use mine as a wireless receiver.

Just search: laptop 360 adapter

and there are tonnes of videos on how to do it.
