Laptop : HP Pavilion Entertainment PC dv2000tWhen I turn it on, the monitor is blank, and after three seconds, three beeps occur, one long beep, followed by two short ones. The monitor stayed blank after this and nothing else happens.If it was a video card failure, I'd like a step by step guide of taking apart my laptop safely and repair it. I have some screwdrivers, other special tools and a grounding strap. If it was other hardware or RAM that failed, I'd like to know exactly how to fix them as well.
I received one long beep followed by two short beeps. I have switched out ram. Screen remains blank.
