Mark, I tried:
First unplug the camera from the USB port.
Then right click on the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" inDeviceManager and select Remove. Then restart Windows and let itreinstall it the USB Controller and it's devices.
If all goes well, reinstall the software that comes with the Logitech Camera, plug the camera back in and restart Windows.
But it still doesn't work. The light (is there a light?) or any other thing indicating it is active doesn't work either. Thanks again. Best regards, John
