Laptop freezes when trying to access other... I have a established network between two desktop

Question

I have a established network between two desktop computers linked via cable. I have tried to link my laptop to the network via cable & my two desktop computers recognize & can access the laptop. The laptop can connect to the internet. When I try to access my desktop computers from the laptop, the laptop recognizes they are there, but when I click on any part or either computer the laptop freezes & I have to turn it off.
