Hi, I just bought a laptop brand new 4 days ago, it is a Hp Compaq Presario V3000a couple days in, I believe a virus went on it, and now whenever I On my Laptop it comes up with the screenChoose start windows normallysafe modesafe mode with networkingsafe mode with command prompt and ectWhen I pick any of them the same thing happens... the windows xp screen pops up and then it restarts and follows the same cycle!PS I DONT HAVE ANYTHING IMPORTANT ON MY LAPTOP SO WIPING OUT EVERYTHING IS AN OPTION
Hey its this problem again.
umm the f11 system recovery didnt work because it wont let me get into it , as soon as i hit f11 nothing happens f10 works it gets me into this other thing but no system recovery
im not sure if your familiar with the windows ghost cd but I put that in , with the hopes it will wipe out everything and install it again , to my dismay it didnt,
I was wondering because i got this laptop as a gift a week ago and nothing is on it , would me getting a xp installation cd wipe out everything and install it again like brand new,
or any ideas ?
