  1. gateway, very good, about 600-700

  2. Try Dell's Inspirion line...many under 700, which leaves some extra cash for upgrades ^_^

  3. http://www.msicomputer.com/NB/index.asp

    http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=5

Try those links the best brand of laptops

some consider them better then dell hp etc

  4. HP and Dell offer good laptops at those prices, and they are reliable. Except they are pc's. Macs will cost cost over $1000.

    www.hp.com

    www.dell.com

  5. why not $1000?

theres a great laptop for $999

  6. the best laptops are usually HP's

  7. toshiba makes some pretty good laptops for the price, maybe you can even find an hp

  8. i just bought a laptop at future shop, i shopped around and ask alot of questions. You need to tell the sales people what you plan on doing with your computer and they will help suit your needs. Mine is a compaq has a rating of almost 4 and i find it really great!

    Hope that helps!

Oh, i paid $1000.00 but that included installing windows and insurance. Before that the laptop was on sale for $600.00.

  9. Ok, first off there are NO good laptops that are under $900 that will last you a while. If you want one worth while, get like an HP or a Dell. DO NOT EVERRR GET A TOSHIBA!! I used to have one and it sucked. It stopped working only after a year. I'm pretty sure that it was because of a S****y hard drive they stuck in there.

  10. well if i read that right it said you didnt want a pc, but i hate to break it to you the only non pc laptops are the macbooks, which are obviously over that $ amount

  11. Head over to http://www.dell.com and check out some great deals on sub-900 laptops.
