Laptop help ????????

i am going to buy a new COMPAQ laptop .can anyone tell me which is the model i should buy ?

Before selecting any model

Please do rigorous Googling about every model

So many problems you may have to face if you buy Laptop without OS i.e. Free DOS in terms of drivers etc

While searching Google Type following

"Problems With HP/Compaq XXXXX Model"

"drawbacks of HP/Compaq XXXXX Model"

I would suggest go for Compaq 6510b with Xp Pro Pre installed.

No one, exept you, can tell which lappy to buy.

Becasue only you know what is your requirements from lappy.

A qucik tip is

1.> Consider your budget.

2.> You want it for studies / business / or entertainment.

For studies and low budget alwasy go with a low ranged product like 512 MB ram and 160 GB HDD 1.66 GHz processor(Latest like core 2 duo, dual core or classic like Centrinao etc.)

For business you shud go for 512 MB - 1 GB (low latency or High FSB for good results) ram and high speed (1.5 to 3. GB/s) 200 GB HDD and a

fast Internet access device like I-Drives (Tata Indicom). And yes it should have Blue tooth port or IR port.

For Gamming you shud have Serious money in bank .............

Opt for 2 GB RAM ,200+ HDD and a mouse/pad for easy gaming.

and latest processor which you can buy.

3.> Beside these you should coonsider

Speed requirment(RAM and processor)

Sapce Req.(Hard disk)

Screen size.

Access Req. (Internet etc.)

ports req. (to connect other hardware.)

and most Important in a lappy see its backup time ie how much it can run after a full charging or after a 1 hour charging.

and most Important ask for L2 and L3 cache memory of processor case they really make a difference in processor performance
