I have been using laptop for the past 8 months and it was perfectly fine.Yesterday the battery was fully empty and it automatically became off. I plugged in the AC Adapter and connected the cable to the laptop. Unfortunately the light(light which glows when laptop is charging) in the laptop does not glow. I tried removing the battery and slotting it again. Also I tried to put the AC Adapter to different points. It did not help. Kindly help me with my problem. Thanks in Advance.

addition:is there the problem with laptop battery? i just bought a new battery online:http://www.power-battery.com.au

  1. If the laptop runs with ac adapter but doesn't charge then it is most likely the battery.  If the laptop does not run with the ac adapter then its probably either the adapter or the dc jack.

  2. Try taking the batter completely out and running it solely on AC power, this would eliminate the battery as the problem. Even if a battery is not being "used" a bad one can prevent a laptop from powering on correctly.

The only other thing to try would be another AC adapter. Either get a specific one for your laptop from the manufacturer, or try a universal adapter. If that does not work it could be the laptop itself - in which case you will need to send it off. Hope its under warranty!
