  1. Yes you can take your laptop on Ocean Village II, it has wireless internet available in the cyber zone but extra charges apply! (These generally tend to be quite expensive, a bit more than the phonecalls)

But with all the extra entertainment available from bars to restaurants, volleyball and tennis courts, spas and pools not to mention the exotic excursions I can assure you, you won't have time!

    Have a great trip!!

  2. I don't know about them, but the cruises I have been on have offered wi-fi, but it is expensive.  In the neighborhood of 15-20/hour.  We took our laptop, but only to dump pics off of our camera.

  3. I don't know for certain about this ship, but even if Ocean Village Two has wireless access it is likely to be expensive and unlikely to be available in your cabin, so you will have to keep taking your laptop out to the public spaces.

There is definitely a Cyber Cafe on the ship where you will be able to use the internet for a charge.

Bear in mind too that even the most luxurious cabins on these ships are often not that large and the space taken up by your laptop and its case may be better used for something else... like an extra pair of shoes!

It's also worth bearing in mind that you will be so busy having a fantastic time on your cruise, that you probably won't have  any time for browsing the internet, or Yahoo Answers! I'd recommend you use the on board computers to keep in touch with back home and spend the rest of the time enjoying yourself!

  4. I have been on an Ocean Village cruise and they did have internet but only via cyber cafes (not wireless.) It was rather expensive (I forget how much exactly, but was charged per minute) and extremely slow. I got frustrated with it, and checked my email at the ports we stopped at instead. It was much cheaper and faster.

  5. It will be a great vacation: sitting on the deck and browsing on the net. But you can do the same at home and it is cheaper.

In short: don't take the laptop and enjoy the cruise!

  6. Call the cruise line.
