Laptop question? Can I dim the screen a little?

Can I lower the brightness of my screen on my advent laptop? I know you can on a normal pc. Somtimes when working it makes my eyes ache, is there any way of doing this please?

Hello there should be arows on your keypad for this hold down the FN key  and press high & low the brightness buttons.

you should have a Button that has (fn) on it hold it down and press down to dim the srceen or up brighten it.

Yeah, there's definitely a way. Look on the keys and see if you can see some little sun icons with up or down arrows. Hold down the function key (usually says "Fn") and press the sun key with the down arrow. Hope that works!
