Laptop screen, inverter etc?

My laptop screen went out, so I replaced the bulb but didn't work, so I bought a whole new screen for it, still didn't work, then I bought an inverter and yet, still not working.. I can only see what's on the screen when I put a flashlight to it.. does anyone know what's wrong?

Is it possible that the problem is a software driver rather than hardware failure?

(If you have a really hard time reading the screen, plug in a desktop monitor to the back of your laptop.)

Go to the control panel, the "system", then "device manager", find the video card, then "roll back" the driver for it.

If there is no change, then I would have a laptop specialist look at it.
