Laptop screen brighter?

How do i make it brighter? when it's plugged in and charging it's brighter. and it's darker when it isn't plugged in. thanks for your help :)

There is probably a Fn (function) key on your keyboard. It is probably to the left or right of the spacebar. Try holding down the Fn key and tap the addition (+) key or up arrow (↑) key.

What type of laptop and system u got? Most likely you open control panel and open Power Options. no edit your power plan and it should show brightness meters.

**go to control panel and open Windows Mobility Center.  There's a Brightness meter you can edit there.**
