When I need to read anything on the screen i have to turn my head to the left or flip the entire laptop over onto its side. How do I get the screen to go back to normal?

  1. there is usually a hotkey for this, some combination of ctrl alt and a direction key pressed, perhaps shift as well.

try them all i was doing this to p**s my friend off at college and i forget exactly what keys but i know thats what it was.

ctrl alt maybe shift and a direction

  2. ctrl+alt+up arrow

email me if it doesn't work :)

  3. You can also try right clicking on the desktop and it should say something like "rotate 90" or something like that.

  4. you probably did this on accident but most laptops and some desktops have a feature that lets you rotate the screen. You can usually fix this by pressing Ctrl+up Arrow Key. If that doesn't work your can try Ctrl+Alt+up arrow key

  5. depends on your video adapter, but in all cases you need to right click on a blank area of your desktop, then choose either "Properties" or "VideoXX control panel" (where VideoXX is your adapter's name).

Once in the properties or control panel for the adapter, look for "Rotate Display". (You could also try the "Restore Defaults" if it is showing.)
