Laptop - too many choices?

Question

I want to buy a new notebook computer... which to buy? so many choices!

HP? or Toshiba? or Sony? or Dell? or Gateway? they are all so similar

I wouldn't go with 1 gig of ram. 2 Gigabytes will run vista premium fine at a little over 50 %, so it's good. The hard drive is completely dependent on your needs, if you don't store a lot of multimedia go for the 80 gig.

its not really the brand so much as your price range

now a days you should pick nothing lower than a core 2 duo with at least 1 gb and a 80 gb hd

id go with el fisto and get a macbook

don't waste your money on any of those.  buy a mac, it is more expensive, but you get an amazing computer for your money.  everything is compatible.... you can use iwork that is compatible with MS office, or if you really wanted to you could install windows on your mac (but i don't know why you'd do that, leopard is so much better).

The better way to make a decision is the quality of a product + the features that fitted to the laptop.

Choice the one who has greater hard drive and best quality laptops and many features like intel dual core, great memory, hard drive, fast, and many more.

Each of the product of Hp, Toshiba, Sony, Dell,Gateway has many great laptops but choose the cheapest but quality product that laptops has.

Dont get a dell. I dotn know anything about the other brands just dont get a dell, because my laptop has over heating problems, the battery dies when it has half power, the charger needs to have something like a cell phone under the charger in the comuter to work, and if it gets unplugged from the computer the charger shuts off and needs to be plugged in again from the wall. i dont know if that makes any sense but it happened and my warrenty hasnt even expired. and my friend brought her dell laptop into best buy cuz it was messed up && the guy said any computer was better than a dell. so good luck picking.
