Question:

Laptop with Monthly payments?

I need a laptop. Preferably an HP or a Apple Macbook. I'd really rather not pay a full price and just go for monthly payments, it'd be easier for me. Where should or could I do that/

  1. Go to Best Buy or any other of the big-box stores and apply for a store credit card, or see if they offer in-store financing.

  2. Refurb

I know some places have refurb site like dell.--They have sent in repaired ones, leased ones, or ones previously ordered but not shipped due to an order cancellation. These will be much cheaper, and still have the things you want

  3. Pretty much any retailer (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.)

But, you do understand that you pay more when you make payments right?

  4. All of the retailers offer that. 0% and payments. You just have to make sure that at the end of the 12 months or whatnot you have paid in full. Otherwise the interest kicks in for the year.

With laptops in this day and age an $800 dollar one goes far. Half of the more expensive ones are junk and have features that are worthless.

August is actually the best time to buy. Because of school and newer models come Christmas.

I would suggest looking at Best Buy and such as they always have some sort of deal.

  5. For the price of the laptops now-a-days, it may not be worth going for financing.  It will cost you an arm and a leg, if you are lucky./
