Laptop won't recognize its battery?

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop. Its just over a year old and about 2 months ago it stopped recognizing the battery, now I only get an hour or less out of it. The battery is clean and should still be working. HELP!

You definitely need a new battery.

Go to this store http://www.replacemaster.com/dell

find your laptop model and order a new battery.

This store stocks ORIGINAL Dell batteries for cheap so do not hesitate - buy it.

Sometimes batteries just tend to go bad. I had Dell Inspiron laptop which had similar issue, but that was after 11 months. I called support to get a replacement. I would recommend calling support if you still have it to get a replacement.

If you don't have support, these batteries are like $250 from Dell and about half that from other vendors.
