Laptop won't stay online?

Question

I have a dell laptop. When I'm at home, it stays connected to the wireless fine. However, when I go to work which is an open network, it stays online for between 10 seconds and two minutes, but always disconnects, and it's driving me up a wall.

I've turned off my firewall, made sure I'm not comp-to-comp connected...I've done it all (this is why I miss Mac).

HELP!

I would suggest you check your settings or check with your open network, i would suggest trying the firewall settings or any port(s) which are blocked.
