  1. A Compaq WL110 Wireless PC Card will do the trick as I am sure many other cards will, I don't know if your laptop will have USB so I went looking for PCMCIA cards. There are still a few you can buy new & don't forget the 2nd user ones too ;)

A PCMCIA slot is (usually) in the left hand side of a laptop... looks a little like you should stick a thicker credit card in it :)

...or, just a piccy of one.... http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/alie...

Hope it works out as I never had wireless until Windows 98...!

    HTH

    **EDIT**

Just an after thought... you will probably be restricted to WEP security as I would imagine it is doubtful that new software drivers were written for Windows 95 WPA :(

  2. Operating system is now too old, and is no longer serviced by Microsoft, basically, you've bought junk!

  3. hi, you might be able to get a wireless dongle, but you might find you will have to install windows 98 or xp on it.

  4. no i had this problem better off buying a cheap new one.

  5. Interesting - I couldn't even find that model on the Canon website.  But, I can tell you, that if the laptop has a card slot, PCMCIA slot you might be able to find a wireless card that will work with your Windows version also.  You could search around on eBay again for a wireless card, hopefully that this machine will work with.  I hope that you will be able to do this.  Because technology changes so quickly, you may be out of luck.  Though, one more suggestion, your wireless modem "may" have a slot for network cable wired connections, and if you are real lucky you might have a network connector on the laptop - it could very probably work then, though not very fast because of the limitations of the laptop itself.

It is possible for this to work for you.  Good luck!

I am a little confused about the model number, maybe that is the problem in the search, I did discover that another name is Innova, that might help in your search.

You can contact me from my profile if you need more assistance - because I am now curious about the connections on this.

  6. the spec of it will be so out of date it will be unusable.........dont waste any more money on it......uit it back on ebay and get most of your money back (i take it u paid around £20 for it )............at that age a 10 year old needs to be supervised on the net so why not let her use the home computer........failing that u can get a vista hp laptop at ebuyer for £269

EDIT.........seriously mate its a piece of junk like roscoe says dont throw good money after bad
