I know they're doing that test beam thing in like a week, but when are they going to start the 'big bang' thing? October?

It could take at most a couple of weeks to "thread" the beams into position.

there is no big bang thing. THEY ARE NOT RECREATING THE BIG BANG. they are simply searching for new particles. this has absolutely nothing at all to do with the big bang theory.
