  1. Great Idea!

    www.michaels.com

    www.worldmarket.com

  2. Where do you live? That'll be helpful for giving store names and such.

I recommend checking Michaels or a party store in your area. I know the party store here rents and sells those. I've also seen them at Michaels, so that or another large craft shop in your area should have them.

Anyway, neat idea. I've seen that on tv before and it looks really neat. Have you seen the jelly candles? You buy this coloured powder and pour it into water in your container. Stir it up and it turns to jelly. It looks like there's really a drink in there. Then you can put the candles right into that. Another idea is coloured sand or stones.

  3. I think that the Martini glasses will look beautiful. You can try Save-on-crafts.com. They should have them for a good price since they usually sell their stuff in bulk.

    Good luck!

  4. I would suggest coloring the water with food coloring to get the right color and using the floating candles on top.

    Oh look at this!!!!! http://www.save-on-crafts.com/partyideas...

That's hot! With the martini glass

  5. Cost Plus World Market.

16.99 each plus if you sign up on the websight you get a coupon and check the papers for coupons!!!!

After your done with them, return them or give them away as gifts at the table!

  6. I had this same idea, but thought they were too expensive for the amount of tables I am having...but they have them at AC Moore or Michael's

  7. I've seen some large martini glasses at Michael's Craft Store.  I am not sure if they are a nationwide chain, but you could google "Michael's" and see if one is near you.  They can even do a special order for you and order additional stock other than what is on their shelves.

  8. My mother found them at Michael's. She showed up one day with three of the biggest champagne glasses I had ever seen. She thought they would be cute on the table where we served the champagne. I put three boxes of different heights with champagne colored silk charmuse over them. Once I had the glasses set I put small frosted white and champagne colored Christmas ball ornaments in them. Everyone commented on how easy it was to find the Champagne!

Since I had a Christmas wedding I used wreathes with the Santa's I collect in the center. If you have something you or your husband collect I would suggest that. Those glasses are expensive......then what are you going to do with all of them if you have to purchase them?
