Large agency 911/police dispatchers?

Question

I am currently in training to be a 911 dispatcher in a large city. We are required to do rotations between the phones and radio. My question is if you also do both...which do you like better? Which is harder? and do you like your job?

Call taking is generally accepted as being harder, because you are dealing with irate and difficult callers who often can't give you the most basic info.  At my agency we do both simultaneously, so it's not an issue here.   And I love my profession; something different everyday and rewarding.
