Large flying bird in idaho?

Question

Okay so my brother went to idaho with his gf to her dads wedding and they both told me it was night time and they saw a HUGE bird like object flying in the air at night that looked like a "teradactol" (not sure if i spelled that right) and it flew over them and that 3 other people also saw it. and later the next day they had found dead fish on on the sidewalks and there was no lakes near by.

any body from idaho that saw this large bird or whatever it was?

it was either an eagle or a thunderbird
