Question:

Large pupil after cataract surgery?

After cataract surgery my pupil is larger. It has been 2 months. I told the surgeon and he said it was normal. It has been very slowly shrinking for the past 2 months. Has anyone ever noticed this? It is about 20% larger than the non operated eye.

  1. It should be fine, after cataract surgery sometimes this can happen.  its just from all they have to do in the surgery.  they may have had to stretch your pupil.  it should come back to normal size.

  2. my friend jus had that and her eye was like that for 1 month and 3 weeks and yea it's normal dont worry but idk what u mean notice this it's noticable if someone stares at ur eye otherwise i dont think it's very noticable and now ur eye's will be great :) so dont worry
