  1. even if its a fatty tumor - did the doctor say what would happen if it wasnt taken care of? my dog had a what looked like a blood pimple? it was from him shaking his head so much that he broke blood vessels on/in his ear and a blood sac formed. My vet told me if wasnt taken care of (lanced and drained and the wound had 7 stitches) he said once it harden by the blood drying inside the sac on the ear  it couldnt be removed without removing half of his ear. i would get a 2nd opinion.

  2. take him to another vet that could be serouis

  3. It does look like a fatty lymphoma. They are usually non cancerous. Your vet should be able to do a biopsy.

My late great dog had almost 30 of them by thetime he was 14.5 but they were under his skin. He'd had 2 removed that made the vet nervous.

    Good luck.
