Question:

Larger battery = more volume?

i have a small Boostaroo headphone amplifier. I have connected it to three speakers and it works well. The amplifier runs off of 2 AA batteries and i am wondering if i connect a 6V battery to it, will the speakers put out more volume?

    2 double AA are rated for a total of 3V.....

    at 6V you will probably very well blow out some electronics components....

    also the depending on how the circuitry is built it might be regulating the voltage so that you get a constant voltage of like than 3V anyway
