  1. It depends on Airlines you are booking........

  2. This depends on the airline you are flying and where you are flying.

Flights within the US generally have much less stringent carry-on restrictions - though airlines are beginning to be much more vigilant about enforcement now that they are charging for checked baggage (and people are trying to bring everything they own on the plane with them).

Flights outside the US have more stringent carry-on restrictions as to weight and size.  There are additional hand baggage restrictions as well for London flights.

As others have mentioned, your best bet is the airline's web site.

    Safe travels!

  3. Most airlines will allow a 10x16x24 rollerbag as the largest allowable carryon. They will have a sizing box by the jetway door just in case, to determine if it must be checked. Some smaller aircraft do not have a lot of overhead bin space and will gate-check a bag for you, which can be brought up in the jetway after you have reached your destination. You are allowed one carryon and one smaller personal item, which can be a purse, briefcase, small backpack, laptop bag, or shopping bag; basically anything that will fit underneath the seat in front of you. As far as weight goes, as long as you can lift it up in the overhead bin, you are good. Just don't expect the flight crew to do the lifting for you.

  4. most airlines dont check the weight. if they do, its usually 40lbs tops. sometimes i can sneak in 70lbs though hehehe hide heavy stuff in your coat or pants pockets

  5. go to the site of your airline. like ual.com for united and then click into baggage
