Edit: Cakes - I spent about an hour on the internet last night looking for a recipe, then I phoned my mum to look in her 1960 version of Kook en Geniet but couldn't find it either. Let's cross our fingers and as you say, lets hope the trolls don't delete the lepelsteeltjies question. Lepelsteeltjies forever!!!

Are they out of the oven already?  And . . . ?

Did they turn into rocks?  Or have you eaten it all up because it was so yummy? Or did you not even try to bake these lepelsteeltjies?

*Edit* What do you say about Friday the 13th? I have just got a mail from customer care and they said:

It pays to appeal against violations, even if only about one in ten is successful, that gives the trolls a bad reputation with YA. Then their reporting is not taken for granted any more!!!!!

This one was only successful after the second appeal.

***EDIT***  You know, they should not delete this question because this is a documentary about Lepelsteeltljies.  If I had not posted that request for the recipe, then South Africa may have lost Lepelsteeltjies forever. Now, with the link to the recipe, the whole world is one recipe richer. And Americans like cheddar cheese, so I think it would be good for them to try and bake it to see how yummy they are.  

With this question in Yahoo Answers, any one who "googles" Lepelsteeltjies, will be able to find the recipe.  So, trolls, please do not delete this question, otherwise the recipe might be lost forever!!!  Thank you for your understanding. Lepelsteeltjies are a part of South African heritage!!!

Barend, just put them in a tupperware or similar container. You should be able to keep them for at least a week.

Barend.....are you getting the girls all in a huff for nothing, I cannot imagine a pilot baking lepelsteeltjies......I mean How can you bake them and I have never even heard of them!!

Barend, did you bake the Lepelsteeltjies?

To all the others: Darth gave Cakes the recipe for Lepelsteeltjies. Cakes was going to bake some in my question and Barend asked her to send him some. So I suggested he bake it himself. Barend, am I right or are you referring to something else?

I should have added that if you're going to use it as stones for the mating cats, you should just be careful that you don't kill them. I'll never forgive you if you do.
