  1. Larry Holmes just has too much reach advantage for Ezzard. Larry win.

  2. I believe this would have been a terriffic and close fight.  Charles is a very underrated fighter in my opinion.  He was a very fast and skillful fighter.  Holmes has one of the greatest jabs in heavyweight history and would fight this fight on the outside and keep Charles off of him with that jab.  Charles would have some moments and would shake Holmes with combinations from time to time and steal some rounds from Holmes.  I believe that the size difference would eventually wear Charles down near the end of the fight and Holmes would win the last few rounds and a very close decision.

  3. Larry

  4. If there was a weakness in the style of Larry Homes, it was that he had trouble with smaller, faster boxers.  Ezzard Charles was far superior to Michael Spinks in all aspects, and if Spinks could give Holmes trouble, so would Ezzard Charles.

I like Charles by decision in this one.

  5. holmes takes this by close decision.

charles would make a fight of it, but larry would be too strong and would use his jab to control the action (no surprise there) and fight off the  advances of charles.

the holmes who fought michael spinks might lose to charles though.
