The midfielder has extended his stay at the club by another two years and has admitted that Bayer Leverkusen is the right club for him.

gathered praise from many corners.
Bender expressed his delight on extending his stay at the club and admitted that his current side is best for his development. He insisted that his displays for Werkself have won him an international cap in the past few months
and the player is confident that he will be able to make it to the German national team squad for Euro 2012.
“Bayer is the right club for my development,” the midfielder was quoted as saying.
Bayer Leverkusen’s general manager Wolfgang Holzhauser claimed that the player has immense potential of becoming a great player in the future and the club certainly needs him. He admitted that the midfielder has become a very important

“Lars is a role model professional with huge potential. He has already become a key member and leading figure in the Bayer team, despite his young age,” Holzhauser added.

caps for Die Mannschaft but is yet to score his first goal for the country.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently in fifth place 40 points from the 26 games played thus far. They will next face Schalke at the Veltins-Arena on Saturday, March 24.
