Las Angeles Travel Question?

I am 16 years old and I live in Ohio. I am going to be going to Las Angeles alone soon for reasons I won`t say. ( My reasons aren`t illegal or unmoral or anything ) However I need to rent a car and get a hotel room. Are there any places that would rent a car and a hotel room to a 16 year old. Could I have my parent co-sign for anything so that I could rent a car and hotel room. Please Help I am open to any suggestions

You could steal a car and use fake ID to get a hotel room....Yeh that's the ticket...Don't forget to change license plates...

You will probably have to have your parents pre-pay your hotel room and unfortunately, I doubt you will find any car rentals that will rent to anyone under 21, even if you have an adult back you up.

First of all, it's LOS ANGELES.

And, no, at 16, you are too young to rent a car or check yourself into a reputable hotel.

There is absolutely no way for a 16 yr old to rent a car.  As for hotel, if you make a reservation in advance with a credit card, you will probably not have a problem.  But you could, since you are a minor.

no hotels will rent to a 16 year old but here is a suggestion you

can use  hostel

a great one is in  Santa Monica  (very safe and close to a lot of tourst attactions

as for  car rental forget it (again car rentals will never rent 16 years

old (in fact I think its illegal do so in first the place

but you can use public transit to get around Los Angeles

PH hit the nail squarely on the head...  get a fake ID..I use mine all the time to get student discounts cheap kids fees for disney, knots..  free bus rides for kids (cept' I gotta remember to shave)  and all the joints were kids eat for a buck..
