Las Bariilas, Veracruz, Mexico?

Appears to be a geologic feature in Las Barrillas, Mexico (Veracruz) centered at 18*8'6.75"N, 94*36'31.87"W. Roughly circular with several concentric rings described by either waterways or ridges (don't know). Any information about this feature? Volcanic? Artificial? Ancient or modern?

  1. Las Barrillas, Ver., is a natural mangrove swamp-lagoon estuarine system, located about 17 km. from the city of Coatzacoalcos, popular for swimming and fishing.

    It is between the Laguna del Ostión and the sea. Here are some sites where you can take a look at it:

    As far as I undestand the shoals or bars in the area were formed by sediments carried by longshore currents, I do not think they are volcanic in any way.
