  1. Go to the local's casinos such as Red Rock, Palace Station, etc.

  2. Any where really.  I was at Hooters, they don't have a lot of tables but the staff was friendly  and nice. The waiting list is not that long neither. Good luck.

  3. OFF STRIP casino's

  4. These people are nuts. Locals do NOT play anywhere on the strip unless they're a professional. I guarantee you that 95% of the people sitting at $1-2 no limit games at Bellagio and Wynn are tourists.

If you REALLY want to find locals (which I agree is a terrible idea, BTW), you need to go to the dinky little off the strip places. Red Rock Station and Green Valley Station will still have pretty large tourist populations, they'll just be people who drove in from Arizona instead of flew in from New York.

A good place to start would be Arizona Charlie's. They have one location on Decatur, and one on Boulder Highway. There's another even smaller place out on Boulder Highway called Joker's Wild that has a few tables, but keep in mind they usually don't get a game started until late afternoon or evening, so don't show up expecting to find players at 11am. These places will have about 90% local players.

Some other places that have a substantial local play (at least 50% of the players) are places like Tuscany, Terrible's, Boulder Station, either Fiesta location, Texas Station, and Suncoast.

Good luck. You're going to need it.

  5. I personally like to play with tourists out in Vegas. They are usually a lower-caliber player who is easy to get tells on and to bluff. Tourists=Easy Money$

But if you want to play with regulars and a higher caliber player, I'd stick with The Wynn and Bellagio. You get much better players with more money and fewer "tourists" in there.

  6. Why would you want to play in a local's game and not one with a bunch of fishy tourists? It's much harder to crack a profit when you're playing with people of equivalent skills.

However, if you must, The Orleans is the ultimate room for local rocks.  On the strip, you should try the Wynn and Bellagio.  Off-off strip - Green Valley in Henderson and Red Rocks in Summerlin.  The Station Casinos, which those are part of, offer nice surroundings and decent treatment.  Beware of angry rocks when you crack their big hands, though; the tables can get pretty unfriendly.
