  1. I had mine done at Moorefields eye hospital. expensive at £3000 but i was if I recall correctly at a diaopter around 4.5?

      bottle top sort of thing.

I now  only need reading glasses  strength 1.75.

A pinless and short operation with only a few seconds of a scary bit which passes in a moment.(not everybody has any worries at all)

My son also had oit done at Lasik clinic if i remeber it was around £1500 for both (not £3000) and he  will not need any glasses at all.

    again qucik simple and painfree.

what you need to look at is the aftercare and quality of surgeon doing the operation.

the charges will go up dendening on what needs to be done eg a minor adjustment or eye correction starts at the bottom end and progresses as more correction or work is needed quite quickly. it is rare  you get the £395 per eye stuff.

It really comes down to a personal choice of who you feel comfortable with. My son thought Lasik was very proffesional though a tad pushy. I thought Moorefields was very proffesional but not too inetrested in aftercare. you need several memebers of teh public at least to form any opinion of how  you feel who you want to go with.

hope oyu have a good experience and enjoy better sight too. We all notice teh effect the next day and spend a while just looking at things in a new light, a terrific sense of colour and detail is to be enjoyed at least for a day or two.

  2. Had mine done in January 2001 my eyes got worse over he years through wearing contact lenses my prescription was      -5.75 in both eyes well one eye has astigmatism had it done in Chester well known Company called Ultralase and cost me £895 per eye but the best money i have ever ever spent not had my eyes checked since as they are still perfect compared to what they were you should still go for eye tests but i have never got round to it as not had any problems so will continue to enjoy my sight until such time i need to go.

Process on Surgery takes all of ten minutes well worth it

  3. Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
