  1. Obiously in pain! Ughh....you're right....How do people go through with it??

  2. Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

  3. you do have to be awake but it is such a small surgery you dont need to be asleep. it is like getting a tooth pulled or something. they will numb you so you dont feel it. there is so much technology these days it really is a basic surgery now. you should do it. visit your doctor for a better answer so you wont be nervous

  4. they give you vallium to help you relax.  they also give you numbing drops so that you can't feel anything.  I do know that there is new technology now that doesn't require an incision and uses the laser.

  5. it okay. i think they put some kind of antithesis(sp?) and u will feel nothing. it doesnt look that bad to be awake is it? i mean the machine then the laser, the rest is easy

  6. You are given Valium to take before you go in to the office and then given another sedative while there.  You are awake but not really aware.

  7. I had it about a year ago, and it was painless.  Yes, I was apprehensive but they gave me a valium an hour before to relax me.

I am a big sissy, prone to fainting, and I pulled through ok.  Believe me, if I can do it, you can do it.  Best money I've ever spent.

  8. i dont think it hurts if it did belive me many people wouldent do it and even if it does i think the pain is definetly worth it. if you do deside to get the operation just think:only a few moments of pain for a life time of good sight.
