Laser eye surgery: the good vs the bad?

Any personal or know anyone who has had it and had good results of bad?

I've had radial keratotomy 20  years ago. That worked out great.  I went from 20/300 t0 20/10.

I had CustomVue lasik last Thursday.  I had 20/20 vison the next day and could see perfectly a few hours after having it done.  My vision will probably be even better than that once I'm done healing.   I don't have any glare or dry eye.  I have a slight halo which isn't bad at all, probably because of the healing process.  The only bad I would say is I got a popped blood vessel, which is common, and will go away in 2 weeks but it looks icky.  Well worth the money spent.

my older cousin had it some time ago and it worked out fine for her

im thinking about getting it when im older, hate not being able to see properly but i dont like the way they have to force ur eye open while they are doing it  :S  eew, would be worth it though!!!
