Laser treatment to eye?

hey thx for reading my ques, i hv heard that laser treatment is a one time operation and in 10-15 years eye loses its power to focus things is it true ..........i myself im shortsighted -3.75 r and -2.75 L and cylindrical 6/7........

  1. What you are talking about is  the need for reading glasses when you get to your early 40's...because most of the people getting the laser treatment done are 25 - 30 years old...so there is the 10 - 15 years later.

    That would be normal.


  2. well it seems to me.. that ur eyes arent that bad... i dont know if i would risk it... if u see some doctors they still wear glasses and they havent done the procedure yet... if it was me, i would wait until they come up with more advance technology then risk my good eyes to them.. ur eyes arent that bad,... mine are like -11.5 left and -10.0 right and i still wear contacts... as long as they can still make the sizes i need... i wont go laser... im still waiting for a better procedure...

  3. my mom, and uncle got that surgery over 15 years ago. They don't have problems at all.
