Lasith Malinga atones for quitting Test cricket by rejecting Twenty20 leagues for national team – Cricket News Update
Sri Lankan pacer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Separamadu-Lasith-Malinga-c89197, has said that playing for Sri Lanka has always been his priority and he wants to remain fully fit for his national duty.

He said that playing for Big Bash would have been great for him, but he preferred his national commitments.
The pacer recently featured in the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) fourth edition, where he became the top wicket taker of the tournament with 28 wickets off 16 matches, at an average of 13.39.

The slinger’s decision to quit Test cricket makes more sense given the injury prone nature of fast bowling. Several bowlers have been plagued with career ending injuries in the past.
