Lassana Diarra is not leaving Real Madrid for big spenders Paris Saint-Germain – Ligue 1 News
La Liga giants Real Madrid’s Lassana Diarra has put an end to his rumoured move to Paris Saint-Germain. After the escalated rumours, Diarra’s agent has stepped up and squished all rumours about the interest of Les Rouge-et-Bleu in his player.
The rumours flared when the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153.
Diarra has been in the spotlight of many European giants including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Arsenal, and joined Real Madrid in 2009 for 20 million Euros.
The defensive midfielder has been facing competition at Bernabeu from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sami-Khedira-c32325, and has failed to hold on to his position.
Owing much to his tackling skills and physical strength, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international is one of the highly-rated defensive midfielders.
John Williams, agent of the Paris-born midfielder, told sport24, “Only a flute. That should put an end to the hopes of all who imagined Lassana to land at Camp des Loges.”
The 26-year-old has been on the radar of several European clubs including Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray, Italian Serie A giants Juventus, English Premier League sides, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spurs are already in negotiations with Real Madrid for the France international and are very close to reaching an agreement.
Diarra’s agent is adamant that his player will leave Real Madrid for a high profile club and are currently awaiting opportunities. He added that Lassana Diarra is happy to stay at Bernabeu and besides the competition, Jose Mourinho is also counting on him
in the upcoming season.
Paris Saint-Germain are looking for a left-back and have their eye on FC Porto’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-Pereira-c5297. Les Parisiens will be facing another show down with Chelsea for the highly-rated defender. The clubs will have to pay 30 million Euros in order to bypass the
clause for the Uruguayan left-back.
