time together in the Premier League. Diarra played a crucial role to help Portsmouth win the FA Cup in 2008 under the managerial role of none other than Redknapp.
“If I have to leave Madrid then it is only for the Premier League. I loved my time there, specially my last year [at Portsmouth] before Madrid, as I won the FA Cup.” Diarra said.

Having started his professional career with Le Havre in 2003, Diarra has played 38 matches for Jose Mourinho’s men in the season ended.
